The problem with Somalia is not only lack of facilities or higher training for doctors. The biggest problem Somalia faces and will continue to face is a lack of ethics. Somali doctors by and large are highly unethical and downright criminal. They have no naxariis. You will see patients die because the doctor couldn't be bothered to turn up on time. Or selling patients meds they don't need just to line their pockets. I've noticed the Kenyan doctors have more ethics than the ethnic Somali doctors even in Kenya. And Somali nurses are just as bad.

What’s even worse is that some Somali doctors have deals with hospitals in India. Most patients that get sent to India don’t come back.

I'll need to investigate but they do need a cultural revolution, u can't operate in the world with the culture they have and not expect the results they endure.

Corruption did seem to exist in 60 to 69, pretty similar to HSM govt right now type of environment, it must be something they inherited thru colonials, as Europe was in an imperial.and fascist Era at the time, ironically they changed those values and ethics post ww2, while it didn't seem to trickle down onto their colonies. It was alot better under siyad tho due to kacaan principles eliminating class or jifi divides and everything was on merit untill the clowns across all clans couldn't perform in such system and brought qabiil into the mix to hide their failures in a meritocracy.

The Europeans know the rule of the game, it's not how well one person does in your community, it's how well they all do. I mean in reality Somali leaders should be called slaves or servants of the people which is what democratic leaders do, they need to assume the role of a servant or slave not ruler.

Where as these ppl focus on elevating their leaders into fake gold chairs, where as he should sit on the lowest seat and his people should be all on the Gold seat. If u go to Somalia sit with the lowest man never the highest among you, ifs about lifting them up.
