The new trend is malls now. Hotel trend was years ago.
Came back from Burco / Hargeisa. malls are the new thing as ppl put money together to build and it's a guaranteed money maker as each unit is $50-100 a month.
Everytime a poster is put up saying they'll build a mall somewhere so units gets taken immediately.
If you know anyone or see a mall being proposed put money in it
Two things Puntland should heavily tax: new hotels and new universities.

They didnt give any information yet beside owners, at ceremony maybe they will announce it.

If I remember correctly Hargeisa has quite a lot of OK hospitals but none that are really “top-tier”. That’s usually why u see people leave for serious medical assistance. They are giving this doctor marketing tips
You people are not normal. Why can’t y’all find an iidoor doc to open a top tier facility, plenty of them around? Pretty sure @SilentE1001 is making some of these comments. Sounds a lot like him.
The issue is there’s too many doctors opening up facilities. Too many hospitals not enough GPs local care and pharmacies.
I don’t agree with this btw. Locals will be locals who cares really their opinions don’t matter

Why would an MJ man build a hospital in Hargeisa? So that it can be robbed and he gets insulted? Somalis are hypocrites who just hate to see development in Puntland, and have no shame about asking Puntlanders to invest in their land instead. Charity starts at home, his home is Puntland.
Few points to make from the videos:
i) this isn’t just a hospital but a whole 5km square medical complex with hospital, housing, parks, etc
ii) funding has already been secured and it sounds like it’s coming from wealthy philanthropists in the U.S. and perhaps elsewhere
iii) The complex will also include research facilities and what sounds like a medical school/training/residency
iiii) This gentleman is extremely well educated and wealthy. He has a masters in accounting as well as being a medical doctor and his own practice/company with 300 patients of his own
