Is anyone else watching this? It has subtitles, so I recommend anyone who wants to improve their af-Soomali to check out the channel/show on youtube and practice.
I just finished the 10th episode, and it's better than the last series I tried to watch (which was misogyny galore)

Genre: Soap, Drama, Crime, Romance
Plot: I won't spoil too much but it's mainly about a corrupt news channel and other sensitive topics I'll list below

My rating so far:
Plot - 7/10 It's childishly written at times but does tackle sensitive topics well so far (coercion, illegal immigration, susceptible youth, family death, human trafficking, drug abuse, police corruption, media corruption)
Characters - 5/10 mostly 2D so their actions fall flat sometimes
Cast - 8/10 the main girl isn't bleached and is independent; that's all I needed
Structure - 7/10 it's well-paced and there's always something going on which is good
Enjoyment - 8/10 I wouldn't say its a masterpiece but its enjoyable and very easily bingeable (for someone like me who's very picky about shows)

I never actually watched the trailer. But now that I have, the trailer is a mess honestly. spoiling too many major plot points
