However there are many people out of nationalism or hatred for Arabs forgo the entire deen.

The only anti Arab rhetoric I've run into from ex Muslims have been from chicks. Even than it's mainly from xalimos. I don't really run into west African and south Asian ex Muslim chicks constantly dunking on Arabs. It's a dumb take but some of them genuinely believe we became very religious over the past 30 years because we worship Arab culture.

Saying it's a gateway is dumb. I literally never gave AF about Arabs. Didn't even grow up hanging out with them. In fact a large majority of Somali people I know mainly just hang out with other Somali people. A majority of us that leave Islam literally give no fucks about Arab people. They play no role in our decision to leave the Deen.

It's truly repulsive and has gotten to the point where everything and anything about Somalis are attributed to their Mythical Arab Background.

How do we really combat and completely eliminate such myths and fabrication? I think that in this day and age as of right now is the perfect time for it.

Somalia today as we know it is a Completely Failed State on every Conceivable Metric and is only country on paper. I believe there should be a leader that completely scraps the Government and Breaks everything down and all the flaws and starts from the ground and up. Removing filthy cultural practices like FGM and pushing a firm Ideology of Identity of one being Somali and the Hyper-Visible Appearance of Somalis as One Single Entity, rather than something as Arbitrary, Distant and as Vague as "Arab".
