Why don't you read the study in where in mentions specifically that Minnesota(where Somalis are the most well represented group) is one of the few states where the hiv rates of African-Americans and African immigrants are tallied sperately.

Between 2008 and 2012, African immigrants represented the largest group of immigrants living in the state of Minnesota with over half coming from eastern Africa (Gambino, Trevelyan, & Fitzwater, 2014).1 Eastern Africa is unique in that it is the second most affected region by HIV/AIDS in the world (United Nations Office on Drugs & Crime, 2013). Doesn't mention anything about country of origin, in MINNESOTA specifically. But we all know which African-immigrant group is the most well represented there. Furthermore many people from Ethiopia who immigrate to the US are ETHNICALLY SOMALI!
