He is just trying to big up his dusty city of bosaso but the harsh reality shows it can't compete with Berbera :pachah1:
UAE got our back they know we want to annex Bosaso, they are making the groundwork for when we arrive and completely take over the city.

It's just a matter of time. :shaq:

All Puntite leadership is in Bosaso to prepare for the opening ceremony for the construction of the port. I want to take this time in the morning as the birds are chirping and the waves crashes against Garacad rocks to tell all Puntites that the hour has come for economic development, social progress and political maturity.

Oh Allah grant us water, land and stability and may they not be taken from us. May their curses ring hollow, may they lower their gaze so their evil eye does not hit us. I say to ye Oh Puntites, we have waited a long time for our people's uplifting and that time has come.
Meantime feast your eyes on Garacad, the future port after Bosaso.

I thought the construction would start on 1st of October (today).

Dubai Port is a big player that operates in more than 40 countries and manages 80 ports. Of course there are failures in their businesses such as the port in Yemen, but there are also many successes like the ports in Egypt and Latin America.

Who on earth is going to investment 330million dollars in two years in Bosaso? The SFG? FOH

I'm pretty sure if the highway that connects Galkayo to Bosaso which is also Puntlands economic lifeline was to be built today, there would be ignorant and money hungry elders to oppose it. But as it's been said before, the thing that separates us Puntites from the mooryaan and the occupied is that we keep our mooryaans in check.

I would be lying if I said a tear did not escape my eye .. . I wanted to hold it back like they hold back my development but runtii I couldn't therefore I admit officially that I cried. This port will be the future of Puntland for the forseeable future as we diversify our state incomes which will be spent on healthcare, jobs and education. It will @Steamdevolopment throughout our lands from the deserts of Bari to the pastures of Mudug. We endured a lot of hostility because we want a better condition for PL and its people but it was worth it. I don't want to live in a place where @TSP is undiagnosed or a sick person has the privilege to go to the doctor once in a @Luna month I want to a a high HDI country with palm trees and technological advancements. For that to happen we need to kickstart the economy and this is the day that began.

I'm typing this as I suited up in a Hugo Boss suit just to remind myself to never go back to the bottom. I visit this forum to remind myself where I came from and what I don't want to be.

If I wasn't a man that believes in the evil eye of the enviers, I would've posted my joyous snaps.

@Cotton Eyed Joe it's alright to cry. Tears are words too. They travel to God when we can't speak. It's easy to make someone smile, perhaps easier to make them cry. However, it's takes a special day like this to make you smile with tears in your eyes. There won't be a 'we' from now on, it's just us now.

A salient detail: the Somali flag was adopted on this day 63 years ago (12/10/1954)

There are sharp parallels between 1954 and now. There were many people that wanted Somalia to remain under trustee and therefore uphold the status quo just like there are many people that are against this superb deal and want us to remain in limbo.

If there is anything I learnt from Somali message boards and Somali facebook groups, it about the extent of the xaasidnimo of the lamagoodle. On the Somali message boards it is the lies and the rhetoric, on the Facebook groups it was the shaming.
