I don’t support that warmongering elder called Yaasin Abdisamad. I am in full support of the Puntland city administration of Gaalkacyo and Mayor Mr Tumey to bring peace at whatever cost.
To call him weak because he compromised for peace‘s sake is not cowardice. True cowardice is not learning from previous conflicts where nothing was gained and at the end everything was resolved with a handshake.

The gameplan of Galmudug shows their desperation. They want to bring war to the market. Sadly a lot of Reer Galkayo think with their wallets and don't see the bigger picture.
Galkayo is already surpassed by Qardho at the moment in terms of a lot of development indicators such as electricity use. As long as they think about their short term goals, Galkayo will be left behind due to the security issues. Galmudug has been driven out several times, an all out war will destroy the city but it's one step back, two steps forward.

Poets you are correct the suuq is 80% Puntland and the remaining 20% is rented out to Galmudug business men and women.

it's the holiday season and Galmudugians have to collect the fees and permits from their fellow neighbors
