Fulaynimo? This could have been a massive terror attack in which other gunmen/explosives were planted. People reacted as best they could. How do you know they didn't try to catch him?

Do masjids NOT have security? If not, please find a way to lobby for this to happen. Masjids and other public places need security, people need to be patted down.

Furthermore, public places need cameras, in fact, every major street in Bosaso should have some security cameras.

Instead of wasting money on hiring loads of soldiers, we need to invest in technology.

The government must force every public establishment; shops, masjids, hospitals, malls to install it or risk being shut down.

The masjids especially can raise that kind of petty cash in minutes.

this man had security detail and he was still murdered. there was over 400 witnesses. it was jumca prayer. there is a manhunt going on right now and they have arrested 100 people already for questioning. the man was very respected by all tribes and puntlanders. this is why i say @Cognitivedissonance doesnt know anything about puntland and everything he speaks about is just to provoke people. walahi i was near the body 15 minutes after it happened and i never seen that much people run to the scene and start crying. like i said before im not tryning to make this tribal but a lot of the people assinated in the last 6 months were all ali saleebaan and this man @Cognitivedissonance has the nerve to ask if he was a supporter of isis.

That said, Puntland is neglected by the government/local council.

They could do much more with less money.

We just need to get organised!! I would happily donate to install/maintain cameras, more street lights etc.
