Look at em. They're equating SL to palestine and catalonia who have a much stronger case.
Actually Somaliland probably has a stronger legal case than Catalonia and Kurdistan taking everything into consideration.

Palestine is already recognized but there you have Israel suppressing them. (recognized by 136 countries)

Spain can ride this one out with their military and police, they have the European Union behind them. Funny thing is Spain actually went trough with article 155 to dissolve the current government in Catalonia, replacing them probably with a regional administration.

Even Kurdistan backed off because of the pressure from Turkey, Iran, Iraq etc.

What is being enforced on Somaliland? Pretty much nothing saaxib, Somaliland works as a completely separate entity. I mean, I can understand why you would think Somaliland out of all of them would be in the bottom. We probably are in the bottom when it comes to financial stability, good infrastructure, corruption etc. Sure the international community say they don't want to deal with a new state and the African Union is afraid of separatist movement in Africa but nothing more than that.

You didn't really dumb it down for me, it was for yourself. Look at your sentence before posting a reply.

It's like saying Puntland doesn't exist and that is pretty dumb if you ask me.

"Muh Qabiil" Syndrome seems to affect logic quite substantially than first thought.

You need to escape your delusions brought about by this terrible disease and realise that SL doesn't exist as a country.

Correction, the state/country does exist but it is simply not internationally recognized as one. Again, you say weird stuff.

Nope, the federal state that is Somaliland does exist but it's not a sovereign nation. That is a clear fact. No amount of illegal independence calls are going to change that.

Again, it shows that the qabyaalad parasite has been feasting on your brain, therefore you lack the logic to comprehend this simple fact.

Somaliland is not a federal state, it's a de facto self-declared state that separated from Somalia.

I think people forget how bad things were the last time Catalonia rebelled against the Spanish Government.

The Spanish Civil War is more complex that that. Lluis Companys did not declare independence from Spain. The war was between a coalition of Communists, Socialists, Anarchists, Regional Nationalists against Monarchists, Nationalist Fascists, Traditionalist Catholics..... You had Spaniards from all regions on both sides. From Coruna to Algeciras, no region was spared the brutality of the Spanish Civil War.

Yes I know that but there is a precedent for why Spain is using heavy handed tactics against Catalonia.

If Catalonia is allowed to be independent then the other regions of Spain like Andalucia and others will follow which could potentially spark conflicts.

Precedent?!

What happened during the Spanish Civil War and the way the current Spanish government is handling the Crisis cannot be compared. The Nationalists did not specifically target Catalonia during Spanish Civil War.

Spain is not the Balkans. If you know about recent developments in Spain, you will aware that regional nationalists cannot use violence to challenge the State. ETA being a perfect example.
