Ok, so there has been a dispute between the new port management and the business men which resulted to a day's closure, and it was solved this morning as both sides came to an agreement and its business as usual.

Here's the think the current administration and the previous ones all used to raise the tariffs and got the same response from the business community, and gues what it always got resolved.

The issue here is everyone gets emotional in Somalia and people like yourself are in the media who rise up the people for no reason against development.

Larry DP World is not in Puntland and Ecuador is not Somalia, Puntland or Bosaso. Every knew when they crammed themselves in a tiny office in the port belonging to the Ministry of Ports and the minister signed a document with Paul Anthony Formosa.

Formosa told the minister Saeed Mohamed Rageh that he is in charge after the minister said that he cannot put these excessive tariff on the people using it he told him to zip it. His behaviour was that of a warlord after getting armed men and bodyguards. He hid an elderly man with a stick on his head.

oday1kenobi I will talk about that on the background information I will post about this deal. It will become clear why the people are against it. I want Puntland to succeed and progress but Bosaso port is our lifeline and economic hub what are we exchanging it with?

We know the history of investors coming in making things thousand times worse whether it is football clubs, assets of countries or businesses that promise so much but deliver so little.

I am sure you are aware of it. There are cases where mutually benefits both parties but we have done a lot of research and many things quite did not add up.

I hope this answers your question until I post the background story of the issues.
