Gilgamesh Puntland needs more people who despite clannisn can still rise to a higher level than the clan nominator.
In the past four years Puntland went backwards under Gaas.
A man that promised local elections by the year 2016 two years after he took office.
He also said if he doesn’t bring the vote to the people that he has failed and should be the indicator to measure him against.
He was part of those who said will bring elections to Somalia 2016 but then chose the 4.5 against his people’s wishes.
We are lost and are need of urgent direction to where we are heading to. The only solution is 2019.

Muuse Biixi Xildiid is the right choice for Somaliland. Irro‘s message was incoherent and lacked a real message. They were on the Farmajo wagon and tried to sell themselves as pro so called minority groups in Sool and Awdal which misfired.
The clan element one more time showed that HA own Somaliland. They were behind Rayaale and today they rallied behind their own clansman Muuse Biixi.
The HA and HJ one more time proved vital. UAE helped to solidify as they had a stake.
HY have to find an alternative way as they cannot do it alone and unable to break the mould of Awdal, Sool, HA and HJ as well as Eastern Sanaag who had a small number of voters who voted.
HY need to rethink their approach and form a coalition with HA but that would be tricky because of the history of the civil war. They also need to console with their other Gargajis folks for PR reasons but it will be difficult with Faysal Ali Waraabe in the picture.
