This is the inevitable fate of a Farmajo stooge. It's funny because out of the three stooges, Waare was the only one that wasn't installed by Farmajo, yet he was the most loyal. Qoorqoor at least feigned neutrality between Puntland and the FGS in Dhusomareebs 1 & 2. Furthermore, Laftagareen was the only dissenting voice in Dhusomareeb 3. Meanwhile, Waare acted like Farmajo's pet dog and did whatever he was told.
The man didn't even live in his home region, but lived in a hotel in Mogadishu, which is why he was arrested without even a fight. He worked with Farmajo against Puntland, jeopardizing the special relationship between Majeerteen and Xawaadle, and for what?
I remember when President Gaas formed the Council of Inter-State Cooperation in 2018 to push for FMS autonomy, Waare was the only FMS leader who snaked him to join Farmajo who wanted centralization.
Now he is enjoying the fruits of centralization next to Roobow in an underground Mogadishu prison.
And to top it off, Haramcad have arrived in Hirshabelle to do what they did to Ahlu Sunnah in Galnus earlier this year.
When Puntland fights for federalism, some people think we're only fighting for ourselves, but literally everyone benefits. And in the same way, centralization is not a threat only to us. Hopefully people think about this the next time they cheer on an anti-Puntland FGS president. It could be you they come after next.

The issue with South Somalia is and has always been the fact that Hawiye cannot share anything with anyone or each other.

Waare wasn't the most loyal, believe me he is Anti NN but his speaker of parliament was greased by farmaajo and so was his vice president.

Jowhar is too close to Mogadishuβs sphere of influence so it makes you wonder if it was chosen to limit the state power to begin with. Federalism shouldnβt be 2 or more Regions that have no history together Iβm opposed to that.
