Good, less U.S presence will be beneficial. Trump had already pulled out 700 troops during his first term, this along with the aid cuts will deliver a deadly blow to FGS thus finally ridding Somalia of that corrupt government and replacing it with a new one.

Al-Shabab is nowhere near as powerful or influential as Taliban. I highly doubt they have the manpower and logistics to take over Mogadishu let alone pushing all the way to the north. Simply put Kebab has no legitimacy in areas beyond JL and SW, they have to get past hordes of Somali clans armed to the teeth. Very different situation from the Taliban who were made up of the Pashto, the largest and most powerful tribe in Afghanistan.

Without the African mercenaries and the American crooks the Somali people will create a popular and pragmatic government.

Gorka is pretty anti-Islamic but ironically it came in handy this time against SL. I bet he told Trump if we don’t clean the terrorists out we can’t deport these people back there

They are already working directly with Puntland so I don't see what this has to do with sovereignty questions. I think people are reading too much into it.
CT operations may intensify in Somalia is probably the most you could read into it.

For somaliland to get support to be recognized woukd take significant political capital to be expended especially becuase any state who has its own seccessinust movement would be against it. The question then would be would the gains outweigh the losses ? The answer is no.

On top of that trump has musch larger political battles to fight. This issue isn't central enough for them to give it that much attention. So the end result is likley that they ignore it and maintain status quo.
