I’m at an event in Dearborn, Michigan where the Trump campaign is holding an event headlined by former Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell.

He’s selling Trump as the candidate for peace in the Middle East, with zero details.

But this messaging is working on some people. There are 3 kinds of Arabs at this event.

1) Arab American Republicans who already were in Trump’s corner

2) Younger people who believe nothing will be worse than the genocide Harris and Biden have overseen. They think Trump is a wild card, maybe he’ll stop it, but Harris definitely won’t.

3) Middle and upper middle class Arabs who voted for Biden in 2020 but are incensed by Biden/Harris on the genocide and find Trump’s family values ideas appealing.

Truly a stunning display to see.

Dems created this opportunity, just wow.

If oct 7th never happened trump would’ve swept the Muslim vote especially with lgbtq protest stuff that was going on.

i prefer trump over kamala, Look I think its clear that both candidates are going to have the same foreign policy. I doubt they even control much of what goes on with that. its all up to domestic. Domestically I support trump He will fix the economy and make it easier for us to get by. He will also stop the wars well hell try instead of doing the democrats way of ignore and distract

Trump has recently had money rolling in from the pro Israeli lobby. Also, don’t forget his policy in the Middle East is guided by his nephew Krushner-one of the architects of the Abraham accords, recently on record as discussing how Gaza can be “redeveloped”.

I suspect Trump might push through some legislation which criminalises the anti Israeli protest movements.

If you mean Ukraine that’s a different story.


Also Arab American term encompassing secular and religious divides as well ethnic differences. Some of those secular Lebanese etc see themselves as Americans first.
