Yes. I want the produce of the fertile lands of Jubaland, the wealth of oil fields of Galmudug, the natural gas of the Ogaden, the resources off the coast of Puntland, all going straight towards the pockets of the nation of Isaaqistan, Somalia.
It would serve them better if the revamped their whole national narrative. Somalia’s whole identity is based off the belief they are the rightful owners to all Somali inhabited lands and Somaliweyne the final goal. Meanwhile the Haweye and Darood believe themselves to be the rightful rulers. These two groups completely disregard the other clans who are a huge block specifically d&m and the Bantu’s. Hawidar don’t consider these two real Somali’s and would never allow them to lead or have in any meaningful power and Alkabaab is there to exploit this injustice. Why not revamp the country call it the Horn African republic and give minorities they rights. Make afmaay on par with af maxay tidi. Let a Bantu or Reer xamari or raxanweyn lead as president. That would lead to more success I think. Right now there current model is let hawiye and darood fight over who gets control of NGO/IC cash and claim everything while controlling nothing.

Somalia is a name that has been tarnished forever. Somaliland should never have the name Somali in it. It don't matter if we "improve" the name because is already seen as a barbaric name and the right wing constantly use that name for misinformation. What Somaliland needs to do it's change the name completely Somalia also should change their name to something us like you said hmHorn Of Africa or a name to unity all tribes as not everyone in Somalia is ethnically Somali.
