Yep this is a trend that is sweeping the West, although USA - for now atleast - can circumvent most of these issues because it is a greater nation (in a geographical sense), it has a greater economy ofc and each state is literally a nation on its own so an issue plaguing lets say California (VHCOL, drug abuse, liberal policies and flags everywhere) won't plague neighbouring states Arizona / Idaho / Utah. Utah and California might as well be two separate nations with a state (with Nevada stuck as a buffer zone almost), given everything about those two states are the polar opposite.

Point being, that is a privilege within the US given its sheer size so the US has another couple decades of Western opulence but from what I see: UK, Canada, Europe are deteriorating at a rate that is unbelievable.

canadá could have been like the US. they have adundance of natural resources and land, and only 20 percent of america population.

Thought about doing it short term for the lacag but I don't have a specialized skill set they would need currently. Wouldn't want to stay there long term.

Id probably have to complete another degree if I really wanted to move there.
If you’re American forget it. Doctors, Software engineers ect and lawyers earn more in America.

There is a reason why if you come to the Gulf you see Brits and Canadians. Us Brits get paid peanuts in the UK, the UAE becomes like some sort of Jannah but if I was American, I’d be earning more in America.

USA really has an advantage, I understand it compared to UK - A tiny Island versus what I deem a continent (spanning East to West with a population across, unlike Canada which is literally sparse). Canadians must be kicking themselves though, they had all the tools and capabilities to succeed but somehow didn't. UK was always an overachiever so its easier to accept.

I always thought people go to UAE primarily for the change in lifestyle as opposed to salary (which was previously the *only* reason a Westerner would go to say Saudi). But given UAE's lack of visa stability I understand it.

Yep, although Trudeau has now introduced a law to mitigate the immigration (of timo jecel) but can you unring a bell, can you put the genie back in the magic lamp... I'm not sure. I think Trudeau and the Liberals have done irreversible damage to Canada. I basically look at it like Kerala, India now no joke

It's all due to their regressive policy making, that whole green energy bs.

Canada has a ridiculous amount of oil and they only extract it a high rate in Alberta and sparsely in the Maritime region. However they got an obscene amount of oil in both coast and don't exploit it. Had they developed the western pipelines that could have provided energy for the asian market, develop in east (newfoundland region/atlantic) which they also have a lot of oil offshore and send that to the european markets. The central oil fields could be dealt with strictly for America.

but noooooo we trying to have 100% 0 emission vehicle sales by 2035, meaning stop selling cars that use oil, which absolutely insane thing to promote when your such an oil rich nation.

either way may they enjoy what their hubris and arrogance has brought them, they thought they couldn't get touched :mjlol:

Euro/UK Somalis who tell themselves they will move to the Gulf almost always fails.

The only people that actually make that jump are consultant Physicians, which I only know of 2 that did it, and the reason they left was purely just to save money then come back to the UK to raise their kids so they can get access to Student Loans.

But the type to glamorize the lifestyle don't have the transferable skills 9/10
