Asians have certain industries on lock, they have the textiles made in their countries, get them stitched for low prices and then mark it up. Soon, these Hindi will corner the entire clothing market and Somalis will complain, you just watch.

In addition, Look at how Hindi behave in Africa and how they compete with Somalis, in Kenya and South Africa!

If Somalis want to compete they have to find a way to own the whole thing, from farming- production to selling it. Somalis can farm cotton in South Somalia and revive the old textile factory/industry.

Somali businessmen should move beyond real-estate, hospitality and money-transfer and start producing everything under the sun and sell it to others.

Somalis in Somalia only know Asians through Bollywood mostly. They have no idea what these people are really like. I know some very lovely Asians but by-en large I do not trust Asians in Somalia to own or operate any kind of business in Somali lands.
