Well I lived there briefly when we first moved to Birmingham when Somalis were brief but Asians were rampant. Moved to a cadaan area in the city shortly after.

On the contrary actaully, I went to dugsi in the somali area and also spent a lot of time in the Somali community hotspots such as cov rd etc. I’m connected to the community to some extent.

They already are. Once the UK leaves the EU in 2019 they will actually be able to enforce who is allowed into the country since free movement will be scraped from 2021.

You are ignoring the continuous inflow of new migrants. If you read the article something like 50,000 people in Birmingham can't even speak English which suggests they are recent. You'd think you're in Lahore or something if you go to certain areas of Birmingham.

Would you learn English if you can do anything using Urdu there's not much relevance for it in birmingham from GPS to bus driver to shop keeper etc. It's actually the other way around where we are taught Urdu in school since its so common. But don't speak bad on asians they've done nothing wrong in birmingham and there's a lot of Jamaicans here aswell. Asians work as taxi drivers, shop keepers, my local area politician is Asian.
They're not bad people and we get along here us and them since they are muslim and took alot of brunt and racist and somalis we live with them now without feeling scared of racist attacks.

I've nothing against asians. They're good folk and we benefit from their large presence as Muslims. They cleaned up a lot of run-down areas in Birmingham and brought it back to life opening shops and generating economic activity. Areas like Small Heath are bustling due to them. You won't see prostitution and day drinking in Asian areas anymore thanks to them.
