Please y’all protect your children from caadans who are too interested in Somali culture. Most times they are feds or christians trying to convert you, I knew of this lady who worked in my community who spoke Somali and went to Somaliland on a mission trip.
Her family does a lot of missionary trips and she lived in Senegal for a bit, she’s dedicated to learning Somali and the community because she’s (accidentally) expressed frustration about how hard it is to convert Somalis and how they are less lenient and inviting than others in west Africa. I also knew another caadan lady who was similar except she had open disdain for them after trying for 15 years.
The new method now is trying to target the youth and kids through after school activities, not to mention missionary men especially are really weird and sometimes molesters!

on wikipedia they have now written that there are more than 170k christians in Somalia & 125k of them are kids. This “study” was done by the somali bible society lol. There is not a single somali that’ll believe in this nonsense but they don’t care. I think the goal is to use these made up numbers to advocate for more religious freedoms in Somalia in the future to accommodate this nonexistent community, the construction of churches and so on.
