I feel like Gaas halted his invasion of Laascaanood so he can provide Caare with financial and military assistance to cripple the SL Militias and create a deep rooted division within the Isaaq community. Armed factions are the most dangerous threat that any government (Big or Small) can face. The next few years will be hellish for Jeegaania if Caare continues his hit and run operations and Puntland tries to fully recapture Sool. Let's wait and see.

It will take time to spread the division further but it will get there eventually. Division is the fuel that empowers Caare.

I wouldn't be against an eastern somaliland state with burco as it's capital consisting of sool/sanag/cayn. It fits the criteria of two states, they have access to a las qoray port. It's better neighboring these guys because they keep agreements. We don't mess around with erigavo, hadi heeshish jiro oo dhab ah. Let them deal with jeegaan rather then mess around with PL iyaga is garanayo. But they know they won't get hit from PL cause we keep out deals. I am waiting for those updates. Their operations are secretive to the last minute. I didn't even know about this operation until it was done.
