You know very little about politics CC ran to foil Deni/Farmaajo plot to replace Shariif with HSM in the second round, CC basically took the votes that would have otherwise gone to Shariif which would have potentially got rid of HSM putting him 5th in the first round and out.

Farmaajo believed his only chance of winning was a final with Deni, as for Deni, he knew the only way he would taste a final is to ensure HSM didn't come out the first round, everyone knew he would win if he comes out the first round, and J/land was smart to make a deal with him after Deni betrayed them.

Now hindsight is 20/20 even if CC votes went to Shariif it still wouldn't be enough to push out HSM first round, but it would have been very close, too close for his liking.

Most of the candidates don't run to win, but run for political reasons and in most of the cases is to sabotage an enemy.

It would honestly make sense for Saruur to get the capital and let Cayr, Sacad and Saleeban to rotate the presidency, but I think it’s little too late to move the capital again now.

I don’t see why only sacad and Saleeban should be in rotation for the presidency. Anyways both Cayr and Saruur should be able to run for Presidency soon enough.
