Can someone explain Somali wedding traditions?

I only know about 2 events outside of the actual wedding —the soo donis/proposal and the mehr/engagement. And then after the wedding there’s a 7 day honeymoon. Please share more details about our wedding traditions.

We have:
doonis - groom family/clan asks for the bride. Paternal uncle or clan elder do the asking and giving away. Groom family brings money, bride family organizes the wedding.
Nikaax: men only. Marriage contract and Mehr is finalized. Sooryo is paid to bride uncles/clan.
Aroos: wedding ceremony with dancing and guuris/gelbis. Bride goes home to her new home.
3da/7a: woman only ceremony(s) marking the womanhood of the girl. (it's frowned upon to consummate before the 3d night)... The 3rd (3da) day is about that, I think.
Shaash-saar, buraanbur, etc. 3da for young women/bride's girlfriends. 7da for old women held at the bride's family home.
