Interesting question but I think you can’t since the closest point between Djibouti and Yemen is around 13 miles and I don’t think humans can see that far the average human can see about 3 miles with their naked eye if Djibouti was on a higher elevation it would’ve been possible maybe but it’s flat desert landI ask this because it would make sense some people made it there and vice versa when they came to trade, there is a strait called bab-e-mandeb which is the closest point from Yemen to the tip of Djibouti. I wonder if Anyone here has confirmed this with their own eyes ?
I appreciate that fact about the visual length we can see with our eyes sxb, so accounting for that, the rock of Gibraltar which is 7 miles from Africa , also isn’t seen with the naked eye from Africa, makes me wonder how humans dared to migrate outwards without knowing what lies beyond the sea, if youre lucky Yemen or Gibraltar, If you weren’t a long boat trip to Australia or South america, and that’s if you didn’t die in the Ambiguous sailInteresting question but I think you can’t since the closest point between Djibouti and Yemen is around 13 miles and I don’t think humans can see that far the average human can see about 3 miles with their naked eye if Djibouti was on a higher elevation it would’ve been possible maybe but it’s flat desert land

No you cant even see morocco to spain.
Not from the human eye and its fake. Also if you cant see from europe side of istanbul to asian side of istanbul on a cold foggy day what makes you think you can see morocco to spain let alone somalia/djibouti to yemen.

early humans were constantly moving and exploring they didn’t have maps or nothing just migration after migration one example of this are native Americans/the first humans in North and South America when the Bering land bridge was connecting Siberia and Alaska 20-25k years ago humans crossed it once the sea levels rises and the bridge closed 10-15k years ago they were isolated from the rest of the worldI appreciate that fact about the visual length we can see with our eyes sxb, so accounting for that, the rock of Gibraltar which is 7 miles from Africa , also isn’t seen with the naked eye from Africa, makes me wonder how humans dared to migrate outwards without knowing what lies beyond the sea, if youre lucky Yemen or Gibraltar, If you weren’t a long boat trip to Australia or South america, and that’s if you didn’t die in the Ambiguous sail
