I overheard a conversation at work during lunch break between two friends once.
One said previous relationships have been so bad they're comfortable at the idea of being single forever.
The other friend instantly reminded them they're designed to couple up. It's in our DNA. Without this, they'll remain unhealthy and not balanced.
What are your thoughts...? Is there any truth to this? Does it matter about the gender? E.g. does it affect male more than female?
Generally women have more social bonding than men so can offset a romantic relationship with platonic ones - how true is that?
