That's the retarded kacaan mentality that's holding us back, the military is meant to defend the country not subjugate local governments. How do you think these FMSs would react if the Federal government politicizes the SNA in their regions and uses it to force the local governments to bend the knee. You would just restart the civil war all over again.

Military force obviously isn't the right solution. But your being naive if you think the fms don't prefer the situation the way it is now. They get to act like their big shots and make deals . Nobody gives up that kind of power willing no matter if it's better for the people or not .

These local govts are also simply too small to actually negotiate with other countries and are like the fed govt also puppets. In some ways the situation is worse in these places becuase everybody know xalane and the donors control mogadishu. But nobody talks about how many ports and bases are controlled by foreign govts and all the other secret shit that goes on in puntland and somaliland.
