After changing my diet no more Bariis and heavy sugary Somali foods , no more carbs , no more acid food fruits no more milk , no more snacks still feel tired.

So there are 2 possible causes.
Low thyroid
Hashimotos disease

Hhhhh wallahi I’m so confused

Going cold turkey on carbs and sugar will obviously make you feel fatigued, that’s the initial phase, after 4 weeks you’re body adapts and you’ll feel better than ever. Keep up the good work.

Don't just leap into it. Do it slowly and you will avoid lethargy and stuff like the keto flu. I eased into low-carb and eventually carnivore. First the processed foods, then grain-based stuff like rice, bread and pasta which you might wanna get rid of one by one over the course of weeks or months and lower the portions gradually. Then perhaps fruits if you wish and wam. Very slow. And once you've done this you must not shy away from fat or worry about getting "fat" from it. Eat fatty foods abundantly, full-fat raw dairy like raw milk cheese and butter and yogurt, eggs, fatty meat and if you wanna include plant sources then coconut and olive oil. Go ham. This is your body's new fuel and a big mistake a lot of people make is not getting enough of it even though their body has essentially fat adapted and shouldn't be lethargic at all running on fat now that carbs are mostly out of the picture.

so um... what do you eat now????

Eggs 4
Goat cheese
Chicken , hilib
Kale and salad
Some mangoes and grapes
And water

I’m lactose and gluten intolerant and sensitive to many things. I even take vitamin d tablets 4000 Iu , magnesium ,zinc , omega oil etc

its expensive asf to keep this routine but it helps cus It lowers my anxiety , hyper active mind , and mood. Best feeling

You need people like me
Eat carbs and then workout a few hours afterwards. Diet alone won’t stop you from being fatigued. You need to exercise and sleep properly too.

Kale and salad

I'd stop the kale immediately. Cadaans really sold people snake oil with that shit. Every "nutrient" in it is barely biovailable due to the numerous antinutrients in it and it is super rich in oxalates which are no joke. My man, even Vegan doctors advise vegans to take it easy with stuff like Kale and spinach because of oxalates and the risk of kidney stones and other problems due to them. Even actual herbivores like cows and goats, if memory serves me right, tend to avoid such leafy greens. They are straight-up toxic in the long-term.

What are your portions of chicken and hilib like and how much goat cheese we talking? Can you give me estimates for each in grams? Is the meat fatty or lean? And how do you react to white rice? Have you ever tried raw honey?

You know how Somali butchers make there hilib. 1/4 leg or shoulder of a goat they chop it up.

And like 5 chicken legs. The goat cheese is what I chop into cubes on the salad hhh

If that's how the hilib looks and you're eating below a kilo a day and the cheese is probably sub 200-500 grams if it's going with some salad then I think I know what your problem is, abowe. You are not consuming nearly enough fat, my man. You have mostly cut carbs out of your diet (some grapes and mangoes won't amount to much especially with the fiber) and then you're eating a lean meat like chicken, coupled with not very fatty meat at all in not very high portions, not much cheese at all and I assume no butter? Of course you're lethargic. You are barely getting anything of both our bodies' main energy sources; fat and sugar. You gotta start loading up on one or the other, my man. Either you deliberately pick out really fatty cuts of meat and lots of it (eat until you're bursting full) and fry it in lots of butter and try to up the cheese content or you integrate white rice and/or raw-honey with your current diet to load up on carbs instead of fat. Otherwise of course you're going to be lethargic.

White rice is pretty neutral stuff. No antinutrients to speak of. Just straight-up carbs, I highly doubt it will bother your stomach. Fingers crossed. Raw honey shouldn't be a problem too but some people can be allergic to certain kinds so peruse around. But make sure it is raw, unheated, unfiltered honey. Anything else and the chances are they've mixed in sugar syrup, fed the bees sugar water or pasteurized/heated the honey like usual which removes all the useful digestive enzymes and basically makes it no different from chugging high-fructose corn syrup. Raw honey doesn't mess with people the way other carbs do, much like certain fruit. As for how to eat it... Call me weird but I like it on its own so I wouldn't know what to tell you to mix it with. You could always dip the grapes in it and eat them or somehow add it to your salads.

I will keep this in mind and try to eat more especially the butter raw honey more cheese and hilib and white rice.

Eating more has always been a hard thing lol. Even when I was a kid I always forced myself to eat foods I knew would mess my stomach up but I didn’t know why.
I think this is Somali thing , our bodies can’t handle the mainstream foods like takeaway and spices like other ethnic groups lol
