bro the amount of trolls and chronically online people we have in our midst is astounding, i blame somali parents and their "never leave the house" mentality that they raise their children with. If most somalis growing up were taught to interact with the wider communitites that they live in we would not have been hated as much and we wouldve actually been quite popular. i mean look at our food and our culture how beutiful it is. but instead we choose to be insular and sceptical of any type of ajnabi. and also this seeming incel culture that has seeped into any platform or space that we somalis have online is honestly appaling it makes me hate being on social media. i mean theres not a single app whether it be ig, twitter, or tiktok where somali spaces hasnt been infested with troll lingo. just hope it dies down isnhallah but i think the opposite will happen.
