It's root problem is too much internet use. I've seen the campaigns against these young men carried out in real time and it's disheartening to see. Sickos enter the online spaces of men with low self-esteem and feed them all sorts of nonsense like they'll never get a girl because they don't have "hunter eyes", they're not 6+ feet tall, they don't have a strong jawline, etc. These attacks on their mental are incredibly persistent and these obvious lies being repeated over and over cements itself as fact in their heads and then you end up with incels.
