Basra, I noticed some Somali people in the west are slowing rejecting the community's judgemental nature, which is mixed with their meanness and scary facial expression. When I was very young, it was intimidating to me. I was the first Somali (former) to grow out of it. Its nice to see many Somalis are no longer afraid.

The Somali mad dogging look no longer works lady. You can be talking with a cadaan coworker you bumped into at a store and you will get judged by the old ladies, forget about celebrating Christmas. What an unhealthy way to live. It's total insanity. No one cares anymore. It's mentally exhausting. Community members should just focus on themselves. You don't own random people simply because they are Somali. There's 15 million of them out there.
People have too much going on in their own lives to be caring about anyone else outside of your family and friends. Basra, with all due respect, shaqo yeelo.
