Civil War Brewing In Somaliland

Somalia is the one living in a civil war not Somaliland it never happened because we have a different culture

Never happened in SL? What do you call the fighting between Habar Awal, Habar Jeclo vs Garxajis in the early 90s for power? The struggle between Cabdi Raxman tuur who was a unionst and Egal who was a separatist? Or the killings in boroma? Or just recently the fighting in Lascanood?

Say Alxamdullilah that things worked out for you, and that you guys reconciled and built a government. But don’t try to act like you guys don’t have the same clan conflicts that are present all over Somalia.

The conflict that occurred in 1994 was due to the tribes’ refusal to hand over their weapons to the state, and cigaal succeeded in doing so. It was not a civil war, but rather an imposition of a regime.
What happened in Sool is a war waged by Somalia against Somaliland and it is still ongoing.
The only Somali place where the tribes do not have weapons is Somaliland. Are you telling me that this is not because of the culture of the people who love peace and work in peace?

‘It’s wasn’t a civil war, the tribes just refused to hand over their weapons’….what you said is the very definition of civil war. Absolutely retarded logic.

The videos are all over YouTube. I don’t understand why some people just lie in the face of clear proof.

One rule for me and another for others. The hypocrisy is astonishing. You can’t be saying I can have self determination and freedom but Dhulbahante can’t. You cant be complaining about Siyad Barre atrocities, and yet do the very same thing he did to Isaaq to Dhulbahante. Why did you rise against Siyad Barre? Because you felt your clan was sidelined, wanted more power and representation, and felt oppressed. So Dhulbahante can’t have the same line of thought?

But naa supposedly Dhulbahante don’t have a mind of their own and are a pawn being used by the Dowlad in Xamar……Nice culture you have mate, really nice.
