But it is very important for the local people to have a PM that updates the press on time. This was one of the failures of Hailemariam Dessalegn. Both Meles and Abiy are doing well in this regard. Hailemariam was hiding while the country was on fire due to protests and sends a bad massage that the authorities are weak and not in control. Abiy and Meles do this the right way. In a patriarchal society like ours you need an assertive leader who gives the impression that everything is under control (sad but true). Hailemariam was not that leader and the country ended in chaos.

Haile mariam was one of the best leaders in Ethiopia.
You cant use brute force that is why every regime has collapse in Ethiopia from Haile selasie all the way to Meles.

I think Tigrays today being under attack have more rights than a Somali in DDS who is just a victim.A month ago the Ethiopian currency was changed and Abye told his military to recover and confisicate any old currency notes worth over 1millionbirr.
The ENDF went to the border and towns in DDS and set road blocks and were even strip searching the people and taking even less than 1000 Biir in peoples pockets and bags and even as far as trying to confisicate vehicles
Carrying goods from the border which had legit paperwork and had paid full tax.

Didnt you not see cagjar being quiet about the masscre in Garbo ciise but took to the media to condemn the masscre of Amhara in Wollega.
Today an Amhara can rob a somali in DDS and not even Somali Liyi can dare arrest him because of Cagjar and ENDF.So what can you say about this.

On the positive side he transformed the Somali kilil and brought developments to Jigjiga.

He was uneducated and started off as low ranking snitch but what he achieved is way better than an eloquent amhara speaking amhara wanabee Cagjar.
