Tigray also has no anti tanks, anti aircraft etc. That is why the federal special helicopters and planes are landing without any problem in Mekele right now. Tigray militia is not much different from other Liyu forces except for few automatic weapons. They have also only pick ups. The main difference is TPLF's propaganda to score political bargain points. In fact Tigray Liyu has less combat experience than that of Somali Liyu. Somali Liyu has been in combat with ONLF for many years. PM Abiy has many outstanding characters. One of his strength is his ability to appear very weak and incompetent in the eyes of his opponents. This is where many of his opponents get destroyed, be it Jawar & co and now TPLF. They all think PM Abiy is weak, incompetent and so they can bring him down easily. The problem is while they brag and talk endlessly how Abiy is weak and how he is useless and incompetent, he in the meantime does his homework of preparing a clever plan for months to beat them. And since one of his outstanding characters are strategic planning and being a workaholic, he works day and night a detailed plan to get his opponents while they are allover the media disrespecting him and making themselves way too strong than they are. A wise leader makes his opponents believe he is weak so that they don't do the necessary preparation that is up to the task. That is where all his opponents fail, undermining his capabilities and his determination.
