Imagine justifying bashing a skintone a good % of your people have.

If a cadaan person bashed dark skin, it would be seen as racist. So what do you call a darker man that bashes dark skin? A self hater.

Love yourself @KingSomali999 stop with the doqonimo. I'd also say the same thing to a Somali girl. The majority of Abdis are dark. Even what we call 'maariin' is dark compared to the rest of the world. Have a bit of self respect.

Is height an ethnic feature? Height is a body type. Also, I don't think it is acceptable to laugh about features people can't change.

Instead of your thread being about why its wrong to bash people, you want to justify one simply because rude obnoxious women engage in it. Surely the best approach would be for everyone not to do it.

Also, you can't compare skin colour with height. A lot of people's skin is determined by their ethnic group and race. Most people prefer their own. Simple.

There is a difference between preference and bashing. So yes, most have answered your questions. I even said insulting someone due to their height is wrong.

personally I don’t understand people being attracted to someone based on skin color only. I think if someone is attractive it’s based on like how their features fall on their face and if they’re easy on the eyes, I don’t think skin color really is a factor. This is a great example of people coming up with their own conclusions and running with it. I never once stated i have a preference for light skins. Labeling someone as a colorist is stupid tbh. if you don’t find someone attractive because of their skin color might sound harsh but you can’t help what u are attracted to. I noticed that it’s mostly women who label people as colorist, usually AA/A women in general.
Why is it accepted to dismiss a men simply due to his height? Same people will burn ur house down soon as you state you don’t find a certain color attractive

There's a difference between bashing and preference. I agree with @Angelina that any form of bashing is bad, however bashing women with darker skin is selfhate of the highest order. To think that some Somali men bash their women for their darkskin when in fact they have a cousin or a sister with the same skintone is mindblowing.

Women that bash men for their height, but get angry when men have their preferences of dating non-fat women for example are hypocrites too. Their father, brother or cousins might all be short yet they bash men that are short. It's unacceptable as well to be honest.

All we should do is respectfully have our own preferences, and if you like Somali women with lightskin there's not wrong with that. Same way when Somali women prefer taller darkskin men for example.
