Man and woman dead after northeast Columbus murder-suicide

Two people were injured a shooting on the northeast side of Columbus Thursday evening.

Police said she found a man and a woman inside a car with gunshot wounds.

The man was identified as 23-year-old Ali Dirir, and the woman was identified as 22-year-old Asia Mussa by police investigators.

Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan said he believes it was an “apparent homicide, suicide” where the male shot and killed the victim before shooting himself.

The female was found in a vehicle, and the male was lying up against the tire, according to Bryan.
