Contemplating leaving a job without another one.

I've been the target of workplace narcissistic mean girl who constantly brings drama to me by over critiquing my work in a rude way. I've noticed the behaviour wouldn't stop even if I didn't react to her high-school meangirl type behaviour, but lost my cool recently and went absolute nutz at her but no change by the look of it. How do I navigate around this. Wanna leave but also wanna leave without burnt bridge if I were to call hod for reference in the future. The hod is aware am unhappy as I've told him what was happening but I get the feeling she was left of the hook with just please stop giving so and so a hard time rather than firmly make her aware her actions are not in line with the company's codes of conduct expected from all employees.



This will be second job I leave for a . Your advice guys.

I don't fucking know why she is just nasty and hostile to me. She is like that I've been told for many years just a freaking , but only targets those that are out of her clique. So she is corrupting her nasty behaviour with other young girls in their twenties fresh out of uni. All gossiping and shyt.

One toxic team member is all it takes to destroy a high-performing team.

Toxic team members are destructive because they

Create unnecessary drama and distraction. They suck the positive energy and creative brainpower out of the room. Team members waste precious time watching their back, instead of openly innovating, taking risks, and speaking up candidly about what’s on their minds.

I don't know exactly what you are going through but these are the advice I can give you.

take care of yourself. Don’t let this toxic behavior damage your emotional and physical health. Own what you can, let go of what you can’t influence, and make a change if you have to. If you have worked your tail off to develop better relationships with your saboteur coworker(s), and it’s going nowhere, or getting worse, consider seeking the advice of an HR professional or trusted mentor on what else you might try. But if you’ve done everything you can, you should consider leaving. Life is too short for work to suck the life out of you.
Talk with your boss. Proactively suggest to your boss that the team hold a meeting to set up team norms and begin to address some of the challenging behaviors and conflicts on the team. This session should not be a ruse for taking the toxic team member to task. It should be a real and authentic interaction, in which team members can gain insight into one another’s perspectives, set clear standards of expected behavior, and increase peer-to-peer accountability.

I did force myself to confront her, and kinda told her how her behaviour is unacceptable and did already spoke to hr advisor. She was not apologetic one bit kinda deflected it and made it seem like am over reacting. The whole 5mins we were going back and forth. She is a strange bully in the sense that I avoid her like parasite but still brings drama to me. Most bullies will move onto next person. This one never leaves lmaooooooo
