Hit me with them factsIt would support Ceerigabo, east Sanaag and potentially Sool who right now mainly rely on Bosaso port since Berbera is too far.
It doesn't have to be a large container port. Just a small enough one to service the region.

The mountains around las khorey have a lot of minerals , elements and oil. All these could be easily used in Laas Qoray port. The population of laas khorey district is 35000 and not to mention that ceerigabo is closer to Las khorey than to bosaso or Berbera. Las khorey could be the export centre of sanaag and northern sool. However with the rapid building of bosaso caused it to have secured imports/ exports For northern Bari, sanaag and northern sool. This will increase the growth of Bosaso exponentially while further causing sanaag ports to regress.regardless healthy competition would good for the area as it would reduce export/import prices etc.Is this a khat induced reality you are living in, why would a port be built in Las Qoray and who would it serve, which towns, which roads would it connect with, what's the closest sizeable population? You must be high cause nobody will build a container port in Las Qoray it's completely useless in every measurement possible.
Saxib you are 100 percent correct . This warsan asked for 7 mill from us and we gave it to her to build a port. Next minute she bought a few bulldozers which are at most a few hundred k and ran off to live in Bari with our fruits. It would support Ceerigabo, east Sanaag and potentially Sool who right now mainly rely on Bosaso port since Berbera is too far.

Is she an engineer? Does she have any expertise in building ports? Did she have a construction plan on how to build the port with a detailed cost structure?Saxib you are 100 percent correct . We payed 7k
Apparently her husband was an engineer , my dad finally told me he got a fake from India. Is she an engineer? Does she have any expertise in building ports? Did she have a construction plan on how to build the port with a detailed cost structure?
Just because she's from your tribe doesn't mean you have to hand over your money without asking questions.
It might cost more than 7 million I think.Apparently her husband was an engineer , my dad finally told me he got a fake from India.
My dad has plans to build one as he is a civil engineer. He estimates a cheap one would take about 7 million and depending on the equipment it wouldn't take very long.( 1 year or so).
Not really 7 mill can build a rudimentary port. A few rocks from the area using TNT and thin walls around the main pier to counter wind turbulation. It might cost more than 7 million I think.
Tell him to go to Hargeisa and try to get the government to help pay for it.
Where would you get the money to pay for the operating costs? It will be many years before the port will be able to make a profit. Not really 7 mill can build a rudimentary port. A few rocks from the area using TNT and thin walls around the main pier to counter wind turbulation.
Hargeisa would just refuse, we will pool warsan money.
