I'm pretty sure it's not meant to look purple and look crusty. Go to a clinic if symptoms go further.

I just saw your pic. You need to get that seen to ASAP. It’s not supposed to look like that.

Yeah it shouldn’t swell up and there shouldn’t be bumps. Def get it checked out.

The bruising usually goes away in a week and the scars disappeared within a couple months, at least in my experience.
