Somalis have been brainwashed by Arabs, like the whites have brainwashed Asians :stopit:

Her husband is an ex-Salafi turned rightwinger and blogs about race and IQ/far-right stuff. Imagine that being your father.

Those kids (she has like 4 or 5) are going to end up being confused as hell.
Feel sorry for the kids.

They'll never be fully accepted by the Somali or Cadaan communities.

:drakelaugh::drakelaugh::drakelaugh:Imagine still being married to that guy, and I doubt someone like that would change so quickly and marry a black AND Muslim woman. I think he married her in order to exterminate Somali genes:lolbron:

Indians are in a multicultural network of different languages, castes, etc. The darker ones are from a specific caste and region, making them more complex.

With Somalis, the colorism expresses itself within one ethnic group, with one language, so the abuse is more individual, though sometimes the blight of darker skin is assigned certain regions/tribes, and there is no class distinction on top of it, like there is with Indians.
Some of the prettiest girls I have seen have been dark girls, it’s not about your skin tone but your features that determine your looks. Anyways Somalis are very colorist, if they weren’t poor xalimos and faraxs back home wouldn’t be injecting some whitening ish into their skin.

Please tell us how the so called colourism manifests itself in Somalia? Are darkies less likely to be employed? Less likely to be married? Tell us how it manifests itself at a societal level.

Exclusion and marginalisation ALWAYS manifests itself at a societal level. So tell us about the so called plight of darkies.

This is actually pissing me off because I know I ain't a racist.

No such thing as colourism for the most part. However what’s important is features and Somali is an ethnicity so that comes with a certain look, if you don’t fit that look that’s when the disrespect starts flying your way.

Really? You must be super unaware of your surroundings or haven’t been around many Somalis. Even at birth, Somali aunties look at the kid ear to see if she would be dark or light, Somali men in general are more into light skin girls. It’s a thing, it exist whether you want to believe it or not.

@Bold The truth is, you actually would, Soph lol.

We must thank the goddess of light skin for her endless bounty and favor :icon lol:

:farmajoyaab: I never realized people would be nicer to an anthropomorphic 'light skin' from Ganon's castle.

its because your approachable, were as being dark skinned your usually shunned by the world.

I'm not denying what she said entirely. But doesn't approachability also come from facial features? Some people have more inviting faces (not as in attractive, but as in you wouldn't mind asking them for directions since they look friendly).

Lol yeah, I don’t know if you know this but all new born babies are usually light skin, except if you look at their ears the color is different there and usually a good indicator of their true skin tone. I didn’t know this either until couple years ago when my friend had a baby and one of her aunt checked the baby’s ear and was like oh she won’t be light for long :what:
