We didn't see this is in Siad Barre's time nor do we see this in places like Oman or the UAE. If you want to go extreme this is rare in Saudi Arabia even after the Yemeni civil war.

The people carrying out the bombings aren't the problem its the leadership that doesn't die after each one that organizes and commands these sheep. We need to find them and torture them to death to send a message to the lowly fighters and they will desert en masse.

Get rid of anything that'll help improve the country and people will lose hope and look to AS. Hell sanctions in Iran helped create massive protests, whether it's economic or warfare regressing a country is a great way to make people hate their governments.
