i would say its a good thing, because most cultures would hide from their flaws and even hate themselves for it. but if your flaws were your identity (nickname) and it became who you are as that makes you unique you'd learn to accept them. and without those features you'd be an average joe. so in a sense somali's insensitivity and their lack of political correctness is a good thing.
