That is what I don't understand. What is the point of paying for delivery if you still have to leave the comfort of your home?

Surely, their job is to drop it off outside a persons actual door, not downstairs. She shouldn't have been rude, but people are entitled to get what they paid for.

I don't know about Deliveroo but due to the pandemic most delivery person have stopped delivering to your front door if you live in an apartment block and wait for you to collect outside or at the communal hallway
