What does it matter if he comes to a meeting before or after, he’ll capitulate eventually or the FGS will move on. I’d rather Deni didn’t even go to Xamar and we moved on like we have from Somaliland and pick y’all’s MPs for you. But unfortunately Deni has realised given we’re moving on anyway, he only has two options declare independence and have no political future in Somalia (as well as anyone from PL) or quickly get to Xamar and sign the papers.Didn't you say he was going to be forced to attend the earlier meeting?

You really think that constitution is going to get PL signature on it without our demands being met? Deni is not a sellout. After the recent JL fiasco, it is becoming more apparent that every state not named Puntland is either a mess or only exists on paper. I promise you, nothing in this country will change without the backing of the only legitimate state. Even the international community knows it.

No one cares about PL’s signature, y’all are crazy lol. Have you not looked at all the IC support for debt relief, read any of the IMF reports I’ve posted here? The EU literally just released 20 million (first payment of many) for all the NCC agreements without PL. IMF have just released 10 million for the same NCC agreements, praising them and also laws passed by parliament on resources etc that PL is blocking. UN is supporting the federalising of courts which against PL is against. Beesha Caalamka have literally just backed the power sharing model which is around 40% FGS, 30% FMS and 30% Councils/Dowlada Hoose.
If the IC cared they wouldn’t have just released 10s of millions, passed the final stages review of IMF debt relief, push for the completion of constitution in the coming sitting of parliament
These people are funny. They call us spoilers and cry in their speeches that we are derailing the debt relief. Then at the same time, they say they don't need us and we are irrelevant. So which is it? Are we spoilers or irrelevant? How deluded does one have to be to think that a weak useless government can dictate anything to the state that created them. Whereas one side is creating a functioning, democratic nation the other side is dealing with terrorists and corruption. How can they ever view us as an equal to the nonexistent entities they call "states". Believe what you want, but at the end of the day we don't need nor care about your plans or goals. You will never ever decide our path nor remove our agency.

You are derailing the thread but I’ll just correct you quickly. PL is trying to derail the IMF process and deserves condemnation for that.
But fortunately like with SL’s absence, PL’s refusal to take part in the federalisation of finances, revenue sharing, resource and income tax laws that have been passed AND demanded by the same IMF that we need to complete debt relief isn’t going to affect the process. We will move without PL, they can join or not when the FGS splits the proceeds of the billions in loans and finance it’ll have access to as one of the 6 regional administrations (and yes Banadir is included).
Good luck in sanctioning yourself while Somalia moves forward. If you want to talk about debt relief and not constitutional affairs then there’s a thread below where I posted the passing of the 5th review of the IMF process where I can show you how well it’s going

There won’t even be an extension. I bet you as a compromise HSM makes sure that the term will be extended to 5 years but will only apply to the next presidential term. He’s playing a good strategy to get ppl focused on term extensions and then he’ll come out and say I’ll compromise to get the constitution completed. I also believe his two party limit will be similar, he’ll increase it to split mucaarad support.
Also Shabaab is irrelevant to elections. PL proved that you can have an election without a whole region and get praised for it. PL’s election didn’t even have the capital!
Galmudug will be ready to have election in 6 degmos by the end of this year and another 6 next year. JL will have elections in 3 this year and 10 over the next year. KG I haven’t kept up with tho. Guudlawe just passed a bunch of degmos to get prepared for elections too. They have a year which is enough time.
Once the FMS’s all have 1m1v elections that will be used for the FGS election.
From what I’ve seen Federal taxation model will be straight up income tax. FGS will take 50% of resources revenue, 40% to the FMS and 10% to share among the other states.

Tell these guys how the status quo actually benefits Damuljadiid. They can easily get re-elected by conducting elections in South Somalia, where he has the support of Goboloda Dhexe, Xamar and Madoobe. And select SL and PL MPs. The PL MPs and SL MPs who are desperate for re-election will vote for whatever they want in parliament as they want re-election and there’s no chance PL MPs get re-elected if the elections happen in Garowe. Gedo administration supported by FGS and appointed by Madoobe will be picking Gedo representation too.
Puntland is different there going to do elections in nugaal this month or next month idk about sool.
elections can happen in galmudug, puntland but not kgs, hirshabelle, and jubaland where a whole region is controlled by AS and the other region control itself.

There’s not going to be elections in Nugaal till Deni announces he’s stepping down in January or going to allow for 66 MP election.
AraanJaan have Nugaal on lock. Hence why Deni has fled Garowe and is operating in Bosaso PMPF base.
Regardless the elections will happen even if they only happen in Baydhabo, Marka, Xudur and Barawe for KGS. And Kismayo, Afmadow for JL. PL proved IC will welcome partial 1m1v elections where a whole region is missing and there’s whole militias shooting up ballot boxes and security forces meant to guard elections.

No and in what way have I been wrong. I’ve been right more than wrong. Even on the stuff I was ‘wrong’ like Deni going to Xamar is going to be eventually right. It’s obvious where we are headed and there’ll be elections next year.
Also israsaasayn is a bit of a downplaying of 7 people being killed as two sets of troops (Deni’s) and Jimcaale’s forces over the delivery of any ballot boxes in Garowe. This eventually led to no elections in capital.
What you don’t understand is politics follows a pre-determined path usually. The timing might be off but like I’ve said Deni will not have any election in Garowe till he comes clean over his extension attempt.
Even that post shows from Faroole that Deni is begging for elders from Nugaal to help him with the elections but they have no power to even do that. Not that they should given Deni wants to change PL’s constitution

Let me correct you, Deni is in Garowe and not in Bosaso. Secondly PL wants to negotiate separately with FGS on matters related to completing the constitution and separation of powers. Deni already appointed a committee, Nothing new; their position is: We can't accept what other states signed before and other framework agreement should be signed between PL & FGS. So if IC is praising that PL are ready to negotiate, they will also encourage FGS to enter negotiations with PL.
All I see is what I predicted before, there will be a different agreement between FGS & PL, which will give PL a different status than other states. But that's a nightmare scenario for you, you don't want to see PL having more powers than other states, but it will happen; those states gave most of their powers to FGS, PL on the other hand will not do that.
