Somalilands entire existence is based on British colonial borders so when they refuse to recognize you perhaps you need to demand it from them or forget about it.

The British are not dumb, they know doing such thing will open the floodgates in Africa and create more problems besides they don't want to be seen as playing imperialism once again and create tensions in Africa.
