Discipline Experts

I'm by no means an expert. In fact, I should be the last person to be asked this question, lol. I'm trying to master this discipline thing, though.

1. I think everything starts with your calool.

If you can't take care of your own body/gut wax aad qabsan karti ayaa iska yar. A lot of people(me included) underestimate the link between diet and mental health.
=Intermittent fasting(16 hours a day or even better in terms of ajar, do prophet Daud AS's fasting), Carbs should be under 50g, avoid processed food.

2. Don't make the habit of sitting for too long. I used to be kinda good at this, but I've been slacking off ever since Corona started.

3. Just like with your body, your brain needs exercise as well. Memorise the Quran, learn math, do cross-lateral exercises, reading etc.

4. Take a closer look at your shoes lol

5. Shut your gafuur and breath through your nose.

Master all of the above and include Islamic teachings like adab and zuhd...and everything else will fall into place naturally.

I'm not a professional on this one , but I think they are currently faraway from the realms of the internet , we'll invite them back once they're at the peak of sobriety and crawl back from their caves.

Death.

The fact that my time is limited in this world motivates me to make the most out of each day. I won't say I'm a discipline expert but thinking of death keeps me grounded 🙃
