That's what Puntland needs to do with it's fishing sector in Bosaso a big plant like that brings all fishermen products in Puntland from Las qoray to Garacad and begin packaging, weighing, separating each fish depending on it's quality and market demand and start supplying somalia, africa, djibouti, kenya, and the world in general.

We are the only known fishing community by history in Somalia, the rest are recent from siyad barre era, it's not historical trade like it is in Puntland. The two things puntland is abundant with is fish due to it's large coastline that is different to other regional government, we will never run out of supply. The other thing is our 'terrain' we have large rocks and can provide an abundant supply of raw materials within somalia and the rest of africa where their land hasn't got these and have softer soil.

Puntland should be the leader in raw processing materials, fishery, and livestock. Those three sectors have no excuse to fall behind.

This is a good step. Improving trade balance and eliminating energy dependence vis-a-vis ethiopia by 2030 is much needed. Hopefully there will be several hundred factories by then
