Good to see projects flourishing here and there but when are they going to benefit the people ? Last big project was the creation of Bawadi mall, where the average Djiboutian can’t even shop because everything there is imported and overpriced. Even the cinema that’s in there is only in English and Arabic lool. The people need new roads and a new sewage system asap, not some fancy attractions. But they’ll only take care of it when the yearly floodings/sewage problems bothers them directly

They are building it there cause they see potential in Djibouti. Even if all buildings in Djibouti are owned by foreigners, they came to Djibouti for a reason.
