This is incredibly false. Isaias is from Tselot, Hamasien. The ELF were Muslim lowlanders (predominantly Tigre) and not coastal tribes. In fact, the Rashaida and Afar both tried to sabotage the Independence movement at points. Both the ELF and the EPLF were backed by Arabs

The ELF don't exist at all anymore so there's no way that they can be languishing in Sudan. The anti-govt groups languishing in Sudan are the ones that were funded by Bin Laden LOL. ELF weren't snaked per se. My grandfather was in the ELF and then joined the EPLF. The reasons for the war between the ELF and the EPLF were varied. The ELF was majority Christian at one point lol. There were factions of the ELF that were engaging in extrajudicial killings and some that were trying to enact Sharia law. Some factions were forbidding Kebessa Christians from enlisting. The TPLF weren't involved in the conflict between the EPLF and ELF though. At that point the TPLF were a bunch of child soldiers with AK47s.

HGDEF haven't been great but they haven't been a disaster either. Every country around Eritrea has collapsed. At least we have a functioning state.

I don't know where the idea that Eritrea is anti-Muslim comes from either. Practically half the Cabinet is Muslim. We literally backed and funded the ICU in Somalia and then were snaked by Ethiopia who cried to the UN that we were backing Al Shabaab (lies). The EPLF and ELF were both founded by Tigres and were an offshoot of the Tigre people’s anti-serfdom struggle. Both of them had Tigrinya members.
