Washing machiene is widely avaliable, but it takes up so much electricity. Why waste it on that, when you can spend most of your electricity on a AC fan

FYI : AC also takes up a LOT of your electricity, if your first bill ain't $400+, then your a official non-diaspora.

electricity is expensive back home

I am sure its there but I have never seen it, even in upper middle class homes.

You don't wash your clothes; the maids or female family members do. Men do not do any chores there.

Government should subsidize or at least guarantee *secured halal loans for solar panels.

Far more realistic than getting them to pull in investments for large power plants even though they're more efficient.

If you cut the price of electricity down to $0.10/kwh you open up so many opportunities in the economy.

More households can now afford to run appliances which would increase sales and create countless of jobs.

More importantly it'll improve productivity... Not only can we automate stuff like washing clothes... but since people can now afford to run an AC they're less likely to bomb each other.

I'll think all that sunshine, people will take advantage of solar power 🤔

Solar isn't as cheap and accessible to the poor as people think, walaashe. But I've seen really clever concepts in the hooyoland using solar without electricity:

I subscribe to this lady and her hoyo channel. They break down how much they've saved up by switching to solar power.

@Shimbiris You are right about it not being cheap and accessible to the poor. They must have been able to afford the installation price because they are diaspora.
