its pretty normal, I've kind of always been irreligious because I never really could believe in god even pretty young.

I honestly waited it out until eighteen because I didn't want to be sent to dhaqan celis, its should be considered child abuse. also, I don't want to encourage you to do anything but its your life only you can live it, I think Somali society beats down girls in the narrow roles they have for them. but imagine yourself at 80 and thinking back at your life and all you did was live according to other peoples wishes and believes that's why I am unashamedly acting how I want.

Not fasting this week so I went to Tims to get a ice cap and I saw a bunch of adeers talking with their coffees. Granted it’s not as many adeers there as before Ramadan but they can’t all be diabetics lmao.

You would be surprised just how high the rate of diabetes is for older Somalis. With their diet and sedentary lifestyle, I wouldn't be shocked if they all had some medical reason for not fasting.
