Do Somalis on average lose their hair earlier? What what age range roughly?

The X chromosome primarily carries the baldness gene. this is inherited from the mother as they give men X chromosome.

women don’t produce much DHT which destroys DHT sensitive hair. if men took hormone blockers they would keep hair as well.
Yup my brother is the one who told me this since our dad is bald lmao he went to my mom and asked her about her brothers. All of her brothers still have their hair at 50 so hopefully he will 2 lol

Somalis have a lower rate of hair loss than Arabs and europeans. Don't mistake big forheads for baldness. I've seen 2x more men over 50s who have full hair in the crown area back home than in the West.
Normally, as we age, the hairline moves slightly upward across the scalp. So having a bigger forehead coupled with shifting hairline will already make you resemble a balding man. And if you experience minor frontal hairloss as you age will make things look a lot worse. Nilotics some of the lowest rates of hairloss along with native sub saharan Africans and Asians but they have even bigger foreheads than somalis and as a result, many of them look like they're balding.

You will have to look at your grandfather in your mum side and your mum brothers.

Your dad doesn’t determine whether you will bald or not.
Hairloss is also a Y linked trait. Scientist just weren't able to prove it. There's a higher chance of going bald if your father is bald.

If you are at 3 to me you are bald. Hair looks terrible at that point and you are better or shaving it

no doubt about it. The receding hairlines and baldnesss I see for people under 20 is crazy. Makes folks look 10yrs older. People with small heads like mo Farah can only pull it off. Rip to bald madaax qumbo people.

Think it’s mostly genetics from mom side but stress and diet also accelerates it.
I don’t know for certain but I don’t count any bald male family members on both sides except my grandpa who was in his eighties last time I met him, my dad, his brothers all have full sets of hair, my moms side of the family is even stronger with all my moms brothers, my grandpa etc having full sets of hair, my uncles on that side all have wonderful hairlines and they’re in their seventies

Here is the answer, vitamin D promotes hair growth. No wonder our fathers had hair until to their 30s while Im balding now.

Also bad diet, lifestyle, lack of sleep etc basically hair growth for most people is tied to their general health.
I live in Minnesota so don’t get that equator sun but have been taking vitamin D forever

yeah all that bad eating and lack of sleep a lot of it is due to stress. Stress ages and breaks down body like crazy . I hear a lot of stomach issues in community caused by it too
